Hello, my name is Malcolm.  I’m a mobile and web technologies solutions provider, with expertise in a number of technologies including:

• Web site design using technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript including ES6, JQuery and various frameworks. I’ve used Less, Sass and tailwind technologies to produce responsive designs optimising layouts for multiple screen sizes from mobile to ultra wide screens.
• Content management systems including WordPress and Drupal and a content management system which some colleagues and I developed using Django.
• Server side technologies including PHP, Python, Django, Flask, Node.js.
• Database technologies including MySql, PostgreSql and Sqlite3 databases.
• Development of WebApps using JavaScript, JQuery and AngularJS.
• Android app development.

In addition to the above current skills, I have more than twenty years experience in developing quality software using a diverse range of languages including C/C++, C#, DBase II, Informix 4GL, Java and Visual Basic.  I’ve worked with various other database technologies including Faircom, Informix, MS SQL Server and Oracle.  I’ve worked on systems for warehouse management, learning systems, banking, finance, insurance and news gathering / distribution industries.  I’ve participated in and led teams to install systems both in the uk and internationally.
